Katrine Maria Lumbye
Chief Advisor & Team Leader for Energy Governance Partnership
Kathrine Maria Lumbye has 16 years of professional experience working for the United Nations (Kenya, Haiti, Switzerland), the Danish Ministry of Climate & Energy, and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
To complement this, she is currently the Head of the global portfolio of the Energy Governance Partnership covering the US, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Canada, Spain, and Chile.

Katrine is also a Copenhagen Business School alumni, having written her PhD on internationalization of energy multinationals and graduating in 2022.
​
At the event, Katrine will share insights into how the Danish government works with Japan and South Korea through energy partnerships, give perspectives on offshore wind, and discuss how these experiences connect to the challenges of advancing the green transition.


Eric Christian Pedersen
Head of Responsible Investments
​Eric Christian Pedersen has over 20 years of professional experience working for Nordea, United Nations. He has previously been working in various roles like Head of Product Development, and Branch Manager and Deputy CEO of Nordea Funds.
He is currently occupied as the Head of Responsible Investments at Nordea Asset Management, where he oversees the institutional sales and ESG finance disclosure regulations.
Eric is an alumni from the University of Copenhagen University. He holds a M.A. in Economics, having written his Master’s thesis on Economic Reform in India and graduating in 1993.

With experience leading Private Banking for Asia Pacific and managing Nordea’s Singapore branch, Eric brings valuable insight into sustainable finance and the role of Asian financial markets in driving the global green transition.
Ke Yu
International Delegations & Head of China Affairs
Ke Yu has over 8 years of professional experience in sustainability and international collaboration, having worked at State of Green, Moncier and Envision Energy Denmark.
She is currently the Sector Responsible for Circular Economy and China Affairs at State of Green, where she is working with connecting global stakeholders with Denmark’s green solutions.

Ke is an Aalborg University alumni, having graduated in 2014 with a Master’s degree in Culture, Communication and Globalization.
​
At the event, Ke will share her perspectives on how Denmark promotes green solutions and circular-economy collaboration in China, while offering valuable insights into building strong international partnerships.


Dewi Dylander
Chief Executive Officer of Asia House
Dewi brings extensive experiences and she has a strong background in diplomacy, sustainable investments, and international cooperation.
She is a vice-chair of Concito, an independent, non-profit think tank working to promote an ambitious and fair green transition in Denmark and globally.
She has also served as Senior Director heading the secretariat for IMCA – a Nordic lead global initiative scaling up blended finance to mobilize private capital for climate investments in developing countries – and has held senior leadership positions at PKA and ATP.

Peter Johansen
Senior Project Manager
Peter Johansen is Senior Project Manager at Asia House Denmark, where he drives sustainability and innovation through Nordic-Asian collaboration. He is the founder and Program Director of the Nordic Asian Venture Alliance (NAVA), and co-founder of NORDIN – the Indo-Danish SME Platform, both of which connect Nordic startups and SMEs to partners, investors, and scaling opportunities across Asia.
With a background in history and two decades of consulting and project management experience, Peter combines practical expertise with deep regional knowledge. He is also the author of “Brudstykker af det moderne Indien” (Fragments of Modern India) and a frequent speaker on South Asian politics, culture, and society. His passion for India and South Asia is rooted in decades of research and travel, including time spent in archives and fieldwork in Pakistan and India.
Through his work, Peter champions the idea that addressing today’s global challenges — from sustainability to digital transformation — requires collaboration across borders, with Asia as a crucial partner for impact and scale.


Emma Mazhari
Vice President & China Desk Manager
Emma Mazhari is Vice President and Head of Energy Markets at A.P. Moller – Maersk, where she drives the company’s global energy strategy and its transition toward green fuels and decarbonisation. She also serves on the Board of Maersk Tankers A/S and is a Council Member of IETA (International Emissions Trading Association).
Emma has more than two decades of international leadership experience across trading, portfolio management, and sustainability. Before joining Maersk, she held senior roles at E.ON, Maersk Oil, Caxton FX, Lantmännen, and bp. Her expertise spans global energy markets, carbon finance, and the scaling of green solutions at both corporate and industry level.
She has been an invited member of the Taskforce on Scaling Voluntary Carbon Markets and previously headed partnerships and commercialization at the Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping.
Emma holds an MSc in Engineering Physics from Lund University and has pursued executive education at Stanford Graduate School of Business and the INSEAD International Directors Program.
Mads Vestager Nielsen
Co-Founder of Sinolytica &
Formerly Team Leader for Water & Enviroment
at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in China
With a foundation in China Studies from the University of Copenhagen, Mads has served in China as a water and environment advisor for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He currently co-leads Sinolytica, an organization connecting Denmark and China through research, consultancy, and cross-cultural projects.
Mads holds a Master’s degree in Public Management from Copenhagen Business School and the Sino-Danish Center in Beijing, as well as a Bachelor’s in China Studies from the University of Copenhagen. His studies also took him to Peking University and Fudan University, where he deepened his knowledge of Chinese language, politics, and culture.
Beyond his professional work, Mads is also an avid traveler and explorer — he weaves his interests in society, culture, history, and environment into his narratives and writings.

Peter Popovics
Assistant Professor - Department of International Economics, Government and Business &
Affiliated researcher at the European Institute of Japanese Studies at the Stockholm School of Economics
Peter is a researcher, practitioner and consultant in innovation management strategies and a senior expert in business development and operations management. His research revolves around EU - Japan relations in green transformation and sustainability; dual transformation, innovation governance, entrepreneurship, and corporate venture capital in Japan.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in environmental engineering, both from Osaka University in Japan as well as receiving a Ph.D. in Business Administration, specializing in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology, from the Stockholm School of Economics, with affiliation to the European Institute of Japanese Studies and the House of Innovation.
Peter engages in the corporate sector, academia (especially students) and public and private R&D centers to work together on social and technological challenges that are actively shaping our future. Having lived in Japan for 10 years and being fluent in Japanese, he also consults established and start-up companies on Japanese market-entry.
